Easel generates a zip file which uses an HTML <iframe> to embed the published version of your game. This means:
- If you update your game and publish again, the game on itch.io (or the platform of your choice) will automatically update as well, without you needing to reupload to that platform.
- If you delete your game, the game on itch.io will stop working as well.
- The platform you upload to must support external traffic to the published version of your game. Many platforms like itch.io and newgrounds.com support this as it is necessary for multiplayer games, but some do not.
