Next Steps

Congratulations, you have made a game with Easel! You learned how to create a simple game, add a score, and make it multiplayer.

The next tutorial builds on the project you made in this tutorial. However, you may want to take some time to explore Easel on your own before moving on to the next tutorial. Here are some suggestions of things you could try:

  • Change the controls so that pressing Up accelerates forward but Down thrusts backwards.
  • Make the asteroids larger, slower, and spawn less frequently, but give them more generations so that they become even more dangerous in the end.
  • Make the player's ship continuously fire plasma bolts when the spacebar is held down.

There is so much more that you can do with Easel. You may want to start by reading the Key Concepts page, which lists the most important things you must know to make sense of Easel. You may also want to check out the Reference, which is a comprehensive list of all functions available in Easel. You can also explore the topics listed in the sidebar to learn more about all of Easel's features.

You have now reached the end of this tutorial. We hope that this tutorial has unlocked your imagination and that this is the first of many games you will make with Easel.
